To interact with structures from CAD, you are provided with the Structure Toolbox.

Structure toolbox: icons listed from top to bottom to the right.

Icon Description Edit Structure Opens the Structure Builder for the selected structure and section. Edit Member Opens the Structural Member Builder for the selected member. Delete Member Deletes the selected member. Edit Front/Back Bay Opens the Structure Bay Editor for the selected front/back structure bay. Edit Left/Right Bay Opens the Structure Bay Editor for the selected left/right structure bay. Delete Bracing Deletes the bracing for the selected structure bay. Place Structure Assigns a structure to a CAD box (see Place Structure Section. Place Member Opens the Structural Member Builder with the coordinates of a selected CAD smart line filled into the Location Properties fields.

When selecting a Front/Back bay:

• Select the top beam of the desired bay.
• Select the column to the left of the bay.
  • The far left column will select the bay to the right.
  • Selecting a column in a multi-level section opens the bay editor for the first level.
• Select a bracing member in the desired bay.
• Selecting a bracing member in a Left/Right bay opens the Bay Editor for that Left/Right bay.

When selecting a Left/Right bay:

• Select the top beam of the desired bay.
• Select the column to the left of the bay.
  • The far left column will select the bay to the right.
  • Selecting a column in a multi-level section opens the bay editor for the first level.
• Select a bracing member in the desired bay.
• Selecting a bracing member in a Front/Back bay opens the Bay Editor for that Front/Back bay.

When selecting bracing:

• Selected the bracing member.
• Select the upper beam of the desired bay.
