Header Routing
When defining connectivity among nozzles, a pipeline’s origin or terminus may be defined as a header connecting a set of nozzles (see Pipeline Connectivity). Typical nozzle sets could be those on redundant pumps or on heat exchangers sharing a common cooling water supply. The Header Router routes headers and manifolds among the connected nozzles.
The extra pipelines necessary for a header are automatically created by the AutoRouter and are named <main_run>-1. For headers connecting more than two nozzles, the line connecting two outer nozzles is named <main_run>-1 and the extra branches are named sequentially starting at <main_run>-2. For nested headers, the count starts at the lines connecting the nozzles and moves out.
