A User Defined Inline (UDI) is an unnamed inline component with geometry and behavior defined by the user. UDI classes are defined similarly to equipment classes and are saved in the Equipment Library.

UDI classes have geometry rules and attributes similar to equipment classes. However, being more simplistic than equipment classes, definitions for UDIs are contained within one dialog –the User Inline Class Editor –which is opened through the User Inline List.
