The AutoRouter export format describes the pipeline specification data (including the line class, commodity, insulation, pressure rating, and insulation thickness) and the pipeline segment data (including physical connectivity and inline component locations with center-of-pipe coordinates for the pipeline). Because the pipeline route includes the definitions of header and header branch routers, the pipeline specification actually defines a network of pipes. At header tees, all pipes are listed by tags, but only pipes that have not been previously specified are described.

For fenced exports that do not include both endpoints of a line, PlantWise will generate a boundary element. It is then your responsibility to place this element on a pipeway if those pipe segments are to be routed.
