Mass property values are based on user data entry or derived by calculation. This section covers how each mass property attribute is derived for each model component.

Much of the data used for calculating mass property values (especially for pipelines) is stored in data tables. Full documentation of these tables can be found in Appendix A - Default Data Tables.
