PlantWise is installed into a single folder, referred to as <Plantwise CONNECT> in this manual. This directory, in turn, contains a set of folders. This section describes those folders.

• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Documentation contains Tutorials, and other helpful files.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp contains the Knowledge Base application that contains the rules and logic that does most of the work.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\PlantWise contains the CAD application and its necessary files.

Going deeper in the <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp folder:

• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\bin contains the Knowledge Base core executable image.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\enhancements contains modifications to PlantWise that Bentley Systems may periodically distribute. Files are occasionally added to this directory with new updates from Bentley Systems.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\misc contains some PlantWise initialization files.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\modules does NOT exist after a standard installation. When it is present, it will contain program updates that add new features. These files can also change the way existing features work.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\msce-interface contains object files for the Design++ interface with CAD.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\OPMImportPlantWise contains files used for importing models from PlantWise to OpenPlant Modeler.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\pictures contains text and image files for each member of the provided equipment library. See "Equipment Picture Files for Equipment Editor" for more on these files.
• <Plantwise CONNECT>\Dpp\Projects contains a dpar_master folder that will be used to create new projects if there is not a dpar_master folder in the default Project folder.
