Equipment Picture Files for Equipment Editor
The Equipment Editor has a region dedicated to the display of images of the equipment class the current instance belongs to. An image is displayed only if there exists a text file and at least one image file (.gif, .jpg, or .png formats) in the \pictures sub-directory of the current project, or in the \pictures sub-directory of PlantWise.
The text file must have the same name as the equipment class symbol. For example, the symbol for the centrifugal compressor class is centrifugal_compressor and there is a corresponding text file in the <plantwise>\pictures directory. The image files can have any name, but they must be referenced to in the text file.
The text files are formatted to assign a view name with an image file:
<view name> <picture file name including extension>where the <view name> represents the view window in CAD the picture was taken from as well as the name of the picture in the drop-down list below the picture in the editor. The <picture file name including extension> is the file name of the picture in the \pictures directory.
For example, the text file for the centrifugal compressor example is:
