Configuration Options

The PlantSight Configuration menu includes various options, depending on whether you are accessing it from a Facility or a Project.

Facility Administration Options

From the facility, the Configuration page is where you can manage:
  • Facility details: To edit a facility's information such as the facility number, name, industry, type, and more. See Facility Details Administration.
  • Users & roles: To create and manage PlantSight users and their roles. See Asset Team Management and Project Team Management.
  • Visualizer External Links: To configure external URL links for the Viewer.
  • Connections: To configure external applications with PlantSight.
  • Dashboards & navigation: To create custom layouts for various roles in your organization.
  • Quick link management: To manage quick links. See Quick Link Management.

Project Administration Options

From a project, the Configuration page is where you can manage:
  • Project details: To edit a project's information such as the project name, location, billing options, user access, and more. See Project Details.
  • Users & roles: To create and manage PlantSight users and their roles. See Asset Team Management and Project Team Management.
  • Briefcase Management: To manage briefcases. See Briefcase Management.
  • Reality Data: To associate reality data with the project.
  • Visualizer External Links: To configure external URL links for the Visualizer.
  • Connections: To configure external applications with PlantSight.
  • Dashboards & navigation: To create custom layouts for various roles in your organization.
