To Start an Import

You can start an import provided that it is in a Draft status.

Follow these steps to start an import.

  1. Open Data Acquisition.
  2. From the Acquisition panel , click Other Import. The import list appears.
  3. Locate the import that you want to import, and then from its context menu, click Start Import.

The import begins.

When the import process finishes, its status changes to either Succeeded or Failed. To view the import logs, see Viewing Reimport History.

Note: If an import job fails due to infrastructure issues (not because of an error with the import file itself), an error message appears that includes a unique Activity ID. For assistance with the Activity ID, contact Bentley Support.
