The engineering chart provides the user with the ability to easily add, display and modify logbook entries.

By default, “Show Logbooks”, under ‘Options, is ticked on.

This means any available logbooks will be indicated on the chart.

Clicking on the icon brings up the logbook entry modification popup.

This popup allows the user to change date, summary or details for the selected logbook entry.

Users can also add logbook entries, simply by clicking on a data point on the chart brings up a blank version of the above popup where the new details can be entered.

The permission for adding new logbook entries is controlled by the Group Action “Logbook Add/Edit”. Without this permission the user can still view any existing logbook entries.
