To Add a New Table Field

The following procedure assumes that a catalog is currently loaded in the Catalog Editor.

  1. Select the Edit Database Schema icon to display the Edit Schema dialog.
  2. Select a table from the Tables list.
  3. Click the Add New Field icon.
  4. In the Add New Field dialog, add values for the following fields:
    • Field Name
    • Field Type
    • Field Size
    • Field Description
  5. Click OK to add the new field to the selected table.
