This section describes the method used to create or modify equipment specifications in the database design table, allowing you to input all equipment specifications required for utilization with Bentley Fiber’s network design tools.

The Setup menu offers functionality to setup spans, fibers, splice enclosures, head-end, buildings, cabinets, splitters/mux devices, splice trays and other devices used to design an outside plant fiber network.

Click on File (highlighted in screencap above) > OpenComms Settings > OSP - Common to display the following 9 Setup tabs for the Fiber Spec:
