The Structural Import/Export tools are used to create data files representing the Structural model to be used by structural analysis applications and structural detailing applications as well as tools used to import/export Structural models from/to ISM (Integrated Structural Model) and IFC (Industry Foundation Classes).

• Generate files containing your Structural models in a format native to the targeted external analysis application.
• Selectively import or accept/reject individual changes made in analysis applications.
• Resolve any mismatched member Structural sections using available section mapping utilities as external analysis applications use different syntax (internally) to specify structural sections.
• Globally apply Structural data required by the external analysis applications to exported model members, eliminating the risk of them being ignored.
