DataGroup and ECFramework Properties

The ECFramework (engineering content) system publishes the Structural Quantities in addition to the Building Element Info tool. The ECFramework property system is the basis for the Properties tool and it provides the properties support for i-models. The Structural Quantities are available in i-Models because the ECFramework system publishes the DataGroup properties.

Note: One difference is the ECFramework system publishes Structural quantities in metric units while the units used to publish Structural quantities in the DataGroup user interface depend on the units in the active model (imperial or metric).
