Manipulations and modifications to structural components are generally made using the single unified (Modify Properties) tool common to all OpenBuildings Designer applications. Modify Properties recognizes selected structural component(s), and opens the appropriate modify tool dialog.

These and other structural manipulate/modify tools can be found on several Structural Physical Modeling toolboxes. They allow you to manipulate and modify aspects of all structural components including:

• Linear member endpoints, copes, cutbacks and connections.
• Structural attributes, structural data, structural analytical data.
• Structural assembly layouts, properties and sub-components for bar joists, trusses and steel/composite decks.
• Properties and placement attributes of structural slabs and walls.
