To Connect Duct or Pipe

The Connect Ducts/Pipes tool settings opens.

If you are connecting duct, click on the Ducts tab.

If you are connecting duct, click on the Pipes tab.

Select the type of fitting you want to make the connection with. For instance,

Ogee fitting joins two ducts with an ogee fitting or an ogee fitting/transition combination if the ducts being joined are different in size.

Select the first component.

Note: The first selected is modified (broken, stretched) to complete the joint. First selected is trimmed in tee intersections, and broken for cross intersections.

Select the second component.

The connection is created with correctly sized fittings and full connectivity in the route.
