Manually Manipulating Structural Sections via Configuration and Key-ins

The operational settings in the Structural Sections and Section File Manager dialogs are able to be manually executed via configuration and key-ins.

STRUCTURAL_SHAPES Configuration

Modified in the Configuration Variables dialog ( File > Settings > Configuration ). Multiple paths are separated by a semi colon. For instance: $(TFDIR_DATA)betong.xml;d:/tmp/stffiles/german.xml

If STRUCTURAL_SHAPES is not defined, then the first section definition file found alphabetically in the folder specified by the TFDIR_DATA configuration variable is loaded.

Tip: Section files loaded in a session but not specified by STRUCTURAL_SHAPES are stored as saved preferences in tfprefs.rsc. They are loaded the next time the application starts.

Section Manager Key-ins

Loaded section files are unloaded by keying in TFSECMGR UNLOAD <file name>. This unloads files one at a time. Load section files by keying in Keying in TFSECMGR LOAD <file name>. This loads files one at a time.

If you want to reload section files from the list stored in the preferences file (tfprefs.rsc), key in TFSECMGR RELOAD.

Open the Structural Section File Manager with keying-in TFSECMGR DIALOG. Section File Manager is the main interface where sections files are added or removed from the session.
