Roof Properties
The Properties For: Roof dialog opens when the Roof Project Tree object’s pop-up menu is activated in the OpenBuildings Energy Simulator Project Tree and the Properties menu item is selected.
It contains controls used to define and view properties related to roofs created with the Roofs tool.
| Property heading | Properties |

| Name | Used to display or change the roof name as it appears in the project tree. |
| Drawing | Displays the path to the drawing file referenced in the Roofs tool workflow. Drawing is a read only property. |
| Model | If the referenced drawing file is a DGN file that contains multiple models, the model that was referenced is displayed. Model is a read only property. |
| Level | Displays the roof elevation. Level is a read only property. |
| Notifications panel | Used to validate project data and resolve issues with project data in real time (as it is being entered in the Properties For: dialogs) via errors, warnings and messages. |
