To add a bridge to the project, use the following procedure.

1. Either:

   On the Home ribbon tab, select the Add Bridge tool in the Bridge Setup group.
   
   

   or

   Key in bmgeom bridge add

   The Add Bridge setting dialog opens.
2. (Optional) Type a bridge Name and Description.
   Tip: The bridge Name value will be automatically generated for you.
3. (Optional) Type a bridge Structure Number, commonly used in the USA.
4. (Optional) Type a Unit Name and Description.
   Tip: The unit Name value will be automatically generated for you.
5. Select the Bridge Type to use from the drop-down list:
   • Beam Slab (P/S or RC Concrete Girders)
   • Beam Slab (Steel Girders)
   • RC Slab
   • CIP Concrete Box
   • Segmental
6. In a view window, select an alignment.
7. Data point anywhere in the view window to accept.
