Loading an Existing Detail Style

You can load additional style files (e.g., the defaults of certain customers) when you start detailing. If you then save the drawing, these additional styles will be permanently available in the drawing and will be displayed at the next loading.

This additional loading of styles is reasonable if you require a great number of different styles in your company all in all, but only a part of them has to be used per order. If you load a detail style existing in the model, the existing style will be overwritten.

Tip: Take care of the hints concerning the modified file format at the end of this chapter.
At first loading of the DetailCenter, only those detail styles are displayed in the list, which were saved in the drawing.
  1. Right click anywhere in the styles list and select the Load/Save > Load style(s) entry from the pull-down menu.
Tip: If you directly want to load all existing style files from the standard folder, then you select the entry Load all Detail Styles instead
The Load detail styles(s) dialog opens.
  2. Select one or more detail style files (file extension .stx) in the list.
Tip: Multiple files may be selected while holding the <Ctrl> key. Select a list of adjacent style names by holding the <Shift> key and clicking the first and last style to add.
  3. Click Open.
A message dialog opens which is used to select whether the styles are to retain their original (saved) theme, or whether they are to be assigned to the currently selected theme.
  4. Select the appropriate option and click the OK button. The selected styles are loaded into the chosen theme (initial or assigned).
