The Standards Checker examines the open DGN file and compares the contents to the standards selected in the Standards Checker settings. To use the Standards Checker, you must first define a set of standards checks in a DGN library (DGNLib).

You can then choose to run a standards checker interactively or generate a standards check report. If you are checking element templates, you can add all elements that fail the standards check to a named group. A standards check can be run on an individual DGN file , or as a batch process on multiple files .
