3D and B-splines Dialog

Used to control specific attributes of B-splines and 3D elements being placed in the design.

You can access this dialog from the following:
  • Ribbon: File > Settings > File > 3D and B-spline

SettingDescription
Tolerance Sets the Active Tolerance, in working units, for B-spline tools. The default is 0:0 1/8.
  • When the B-spline by Points tool is used with the Least Squares Method, the error distance between data points and the curve are reported if they exceed the Tolerance.
  • This setting supplies the default tolerance for B-spline modification demands. This default tolerance can be overridden by each command.
B-spline Control Polygon Contains controls that are used to set attributes that are specific to the display of B-spline curves in addition to controls to set attributes, in the U and V directions, that are specific to the display of B-spline surfaces.
Curve Polygon Controls whether control polygons of B-spline curves are Visible or Invisible when placed.
ACTIVE BSPLINE POLYGON < OFF | ON | TOGGLE >
Curve Display Controls whether B-spline curves are Visible or Invisible when placed.
Surface Polygon Controls whether control nets of B-spline surfaces are Visible or Invisible when placed.
Surface Display Controls whether B-spline surfaces are Visible or Invisible when placed.
Surface/Solid Iso Lines Sets the number of rule lines in the U and V directions upon placement.
U Rules Sets the number of rule lines in the U direction upon placement.
V Rules Sets the number of rule lines in the V direction upon placement.
