FBX is an Autodesk interchange file format. It is used to exchange 3D content between different products.

You can do the following with FBX files:

• Open them in read-only mode
• Place them as cells
• Attach them as references
• Save them as DGN files

The application supports FBX file formats up to and including the 2011 file formats.

The FBX Open File Settings dialog provides settings for opening and importing FBX files.

The FBX Export Settings dialog, is used to export the active model to the FBX format.
