Modify Profile

Used to modify the profile of a parametric solid or feature by editing the profile’s parameters, or by modifying it graphically. Modifying the profile of a solid or feature causes the solid or feature to regenerate, based on the new profile shape. Functionality of this tool also is accessible from the Feature Manager right-click menu.

Setting	Description
Modify DD Profile Parameters icon	On accepting the required solid/feature, opens the Modify Profile dialog, which is used to edit values of a dimension driven profile, or cell.
Extract Profile icon	Lets you extract a copy of the selected profile. Interactive Positioning — If on, lets you select a position for the extracted profile. If off, the profile is extracted at the location in which it was placed originally in the solid.
Replace Profile icon	Lets you replace the original profile with a new or modified version. Replace All Instances — If on, all instances of the original profile are replaced by the modified profile in all solids in the model.
