To Construct an Arc Interpolation by Selecting an Element

Select the Interpolation by Arcs tool (Drawing > Home > Placement > Create Curves split button).
In the tool settings window, set Input By to Picking Linestring.
Select a line string or shape from which to construct the interpolation.
Enter a data point to accept the construction.
