Using Tabs

The Text Editor window allows you to set first line indents, paragraph indents and tab stops.

First Line Indents affect the first line of each paragraph (independent of the rest of the paragraph).
Paragraph Indents control the indentation of all lines of the paragraph (unless a first line indent is specified).
Tab Stops (inserted by the Tab key) occur, by default, at a distance equal to 4 times the text width. Custom tab stops can be specified to override this distance. The default tab stop distance resumes after the final custom tab stop.

Note: To create a multi-line paragraph, use either word-wrapped text or line feeds (<Shift+Enter>). A carriage return (<Enter>) creates a new paragraph.
