To Create a Stencil into a 3D Reference Model

Select the Stencil into 3D Reference tool ( Visualization > Home > Utilities > Stencil 2D Elements on 3D Geometry split button).
Enter a data point.
Once the stencil is created, a message appears in the Message Center saying that the display is complete.
