To Construct a Parametric Solid of Revolution By Point

Select the Revolve Feature tool.
Set Revolve Axis to By Point.
Select the profile element.
Enter a data point to define the location of the axis of revolution.
The axis of revolution will be perpendicular to a line joining this data point and the data point used to select the profile.
Enter a data point to define the sweep angle (or to accept the defined angle).

Examples of revolving the same profile By Point. | Select the profile (1), define the position of the axis of revolution (2) and define the sweep angle (3). | In each case the axis of revolution is perpendicular to the line joining points 1 and 2.
