Printer Driver Configuration Dialog, Base Properties Tab
Contains controls that are used to edit properties defined for the selected printer driver configuration file. The properties are divided into several categories. The categories that are displayed, as well as the individual properties within those categories, depend on which printer driver is currently loaded. The Base Properties tab appears in the Printer Driver Configuration dialog.

| General | This category includes the general properties that are in printer driver configuration files. |
| Windows Printer | This category includes the properties in Windows printer driver configuration files. If you do not have a Windows printer driver loaded you will not see this category. Instead, you will see the Driver Properties category. |
| Driver Properties | This category includes the properties in configuration files for the Bentley printer drivers: CALS , HPGL2 , HPGLRTL , LORIP , PDF, MARKUP_PDF , PostScript , and TIFF . If you do not have a Bentley printer driver loaded you will not see this category. Instead, you will see the Windows Printer category. |
| Default Print File Name | This category includes the default print file name properties that are in printer driver configuration files. |
| Print Border | This category includes the print border properties that are in printer driver configuration files. |
| Raster Printing | This category includes the raster printing properties that are in printer driver configuration files. |
| Printer Communication | This category includes the printer communication properties that are in printer driver configuration files. If you do not have a PostScript printer driver loaded you will not see this category. |
| Advanced | This category includes the advanced properties that are in printer driver configuration files. |
