To Select a Face at the Rear of a Solid in a View

Select the tool that is to be used (such as the Extend Face Feature tool.)
Select the solid.
Snap to an edge, or vertex, of the required face.
Move the pointer over the face, so that the face highlights.
Select the face with a data point.
Right-click to cycle through the selection of rear faces until the desired face is selected.
