Using the Folder List
The Folder List displays a hierarchy of folders containing various kinds of information. Clicking a folder's plus sign ( + ) expands the folder and displays its subfolders. Clicking the folder's minus sign collapses the folder. Selecting a folder displays a list of the folder's items in the Information Viewer.
Workflow Manager's Folder List has the following structure:
- Workplace Today - a visual organizer that displays groups of your current work. Selecting the Workplace Today folder opens the Workplace Today window. For more information about Workplace Today, see Using Workplace Today.
- My Work - a folder containing information about all your current work requests. Open this folder when you want to view a list of work requests or perform work request management tasks. See About Work Requests.
- My Designs - a folder containing information about all your designs. Open this folder when you want to view a list of designs or perform design management tasks. With this folder open, you can also access the Design Assistant and various optimization tools. See About Designs.
- Units - a folder containing information about the compatible units that are available for your design work. Open this folder when you want to view unit information, modify unit properties, or create a new compatible or macro unit. With this folder open, you can also access the Unit Assistant. - Materials - a Units subfolder containing information about the materials that are available for your design work. Open this folder when you want to view materials data, modify materials properties, or create a new material unit. See About Compatible Units.
- Custom Costs - a Units subfolder containing information about the custom costs that are available for your design work. Open this folder when you want to view custom cost data, modify custom costs, or create a new custom cost. See About Compatible Units.
- Job Defaults - a folder containing information about the job defaults that you can apply to your designs. Open this folder when you want to view a list of available job defaults. With this folder open, you can also access the Job Default Assistant to view or modify the settings of a job default, create a new job default, or clone an existing job default that you can customize.
