Reading a Table with Connection Data
- Start the Database Import from XML function.
- Select the corresponding Microsoft Excel table. You can use the browse button in the selection mask to determine the file:
- Select the Microsoft Excel table.
- Select the Start row and End row of the reading process.
- Open the associated XML file for the interpretation of the Microsoft Excel table.
- When read in the corresponding table and associated XML, a mask will appear that displays the data to be stored.
- Press OK to store the data in the project model (database). This will automatically start the Collaboration Manager.

OK to display the Review Differences dialog.
This syncs the file against what is currently in the project and displays the
differences.
When importing cables into a project, Bentley Raceway and Cable Management checks to see if unique cable ID's are imported. If duplicates is found it is rejected during import and change needs to be made.
- Select all of the cables and click Accept (except for any duplicates).
- Click Update to confirm the transfer
- Use Update Database to save to database.
