Assigning System Identifiers for a Node
So that the input
cables and lines can be assigned to each node as a connection, the
corresponding device identification (KKS or AKS etc.) must be assigned to the
individual node (node). This is done in the
ID Manager
(Conceptual Design).
- Start the ID Manager. The ID Manager will display all source and destination addresses.
- Press the right mouse button to display the popup menu.
- Ensure the Display Non-Associated IDs check-box is enabled. If it is not, it will not import the Node Map.
- Select Import Node Map.
- Select View by Node to sort the Equipment Node list.
- Select Node from list and use the Place Equipment Node function to insert the Nodes in the design file.
- Place the Equipment Node at the position shown from Reference file.
- Repeat the function for all Nodes in the list. Continue by pressing OK.
- Place the Routing Nodes in the design file.
- Set the Routing Node ID in the dialog, then accept the setting by pressing <Enter>.
- Insert the Routing Node Symbol in the design file.
- Repeat the function for all Routing Nodes.
- Press OK in the ID Manager and save the changes by pressing YES.
- Use the Update Database function to save the changes to the database.
