Generating the Schema in AssetWise CONNECT Edition

The initial schema generation must be performed within AssetWise Director. All subsequent schema generations may be performed from within AssetWise CONNECT Edition .

Follow these steps to generate the schema in AssetWise CONNECT Edition.

  1. Log in to the AssetWise CONNECT Edition community.
  2. From the Configuration utility, select Generate Schema.
  3. Select all classes that you want to include in the schema generation, and clear classes that you do not want to include in the schema generation.
  4. Click Generate schema. The schema generation should take several minutes.
  5. You can monitor the status of the schema generation by selecting the Pending tasks option on the Person tool.
    A list of tasks and their status appears, for example:
    Tip: You can also monitor the Schema Generation Job on the AssetWise server.
Once the schema generation has completed, you can recycle the WSG app pool (Bentley Web API) on the web server.
