Monitoring the Schema Generation Job from the AssetWise Server

You can monitor the status of a schema generation from within AssetWise CONNECT Edition as well as the AssetWise server.

This topic describes how to view the status of the schema generation from the AssetWise server.

  1. Connect to your AssetWise server using Remote Desktop.
  2. Open the System Management Console.
  3. Expand your server node in the tree.
  4. Expand Communities node in the tree.
  5. Expand the community for your datasource.
  6. Expand Queues.
  7. Click Snapshot Capture.
    Note: If your document is in the process of being "Approved", the job status displays "Processing".
  8. To view completed jobs, click the Checkmark icon ( ) in the Tool bar.
  9. Click the Lightning Bolt icon ( ), to refresh the queue. When the job is finished, its status changes to "Completed".
    Note: If the status is changed to “Error” at any point, click the job to view the error details. Report the error to an administrator if it cannot be easily diagnosed based on the error message.
