CIBSE Heat Gain

Used to display results from the CIBSE heat gain calculation in several report formats. Gains from individual room surfaces can be viewed in the full report. Total project gains can be viewed in the summary report. Results can also be viewed graphically on the Graph tab. Formulae can be viewed by clicking results.

The CIBSE Heat Gain dialog box is divided into two main panels. A selection panel (left) to select which portion of the report to display, and a report display panel (right) to view, save and print the reports.

Setting	Description
Room selection	Click to select and deselect the rooms whose calculation results will be displayed in the Summary and Full reports. Clicking the Room selection icon changes the layout of the CIBSE Heat Gain dialog box. Rooms can be selected/deselected individually by clicking on them, or select/deselect all by clicking the two buttons provided. The Room selection view is a subset of the CIBSE Heat Gain dialog box. Select all — Used to select all rooms with a single click. Deselect all — Used to deselect all rooms with a single click. OK — Applies all changes and closes the Room selection view. Rooms that have been selected will be displayed in the Full report tab. Cancel — Cancels all changes, and closes the Room selection view.
Summary report tab	Used to view a summary report of the CIBSE heat gain calculation results.
Full report tab	Used to view a full report for each room of the CIBSE heat gain calculation results.
Graph tab	Used to view a graphical report for each room of the CIBSE heat gain calculation results.
Print	Clicking the Print icon opens the Print dialog box, which is used to print the contents of the reports panel.
Save	Clicking the Save icon opens the Save As dialog box, which is used to save the contents of the reports panel to a PDF file.
