The View - Disconnected Node command turns on and off the display that indicates which nodes are disconnected from the diagram. When the display is on, a small white square appears on the disconnected node.

A check mark appears beside the menu item and the toolbar button appears depressed when the display is turned on. The check mark is removed and the toolbar button is up when the display is turned off.
