Snap to Terrain
Snap to Terrain is
available only when working in a three-dimensional model. Snap to Terrain
allows boreholes to be moved to match the selected terrain elevation. The
elevation only will be changed so the borehole starting point will be on the
designated terrain elevation at this coordinate.
This functionality is designed to help you reposition the boreholes when the elevation was not captured in the field, and a terrain model representing the actual ground is given.
Note: The terrain created using depth-related information, e.g. the
lithology layers, will not adjust accordingly. The lithology terrains should be
created only once the borehole elevation is set.
