InRoads Drainage Import Dialog Box

This dialog allows you to import optional InRoads files and an InRoads Drainage Database. The dialog consists fo the following controls:

  • Hydraulic Model Configuration: Allows you to select a model configuration.
  • Preferences: Click the button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the Preferences file (.xin) to be imported. Click the Open Preferences button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the Preferences file (.xin) to be imported. The .xin file is an XML file containing data for many drainage options. In the current InRoads import, only the curb type inlet opening height in .xin file is used. Inlet opening height value from the .xin file is used to set the inlet opening height for a catalog inlet when the inlet is of the Curb type
  • Structures: Click the button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the Structures file (.dat) to be imported. Click the Open Structures button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the Structures file (.dat) to be imported. Conduit shapes, material, and roughness values in the .dat file are imported to a Catalog Conduit. Inlets in the .dat file are imported to a Catalog Inlet.
  • Rainfall Data: Click the button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the Rainfall Data file (.idf) to be imported. Click the Open Rainfall Data button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the Rainfall Data file (.idf) to be imported. IDF curves in the .idf file are imported to a User Defined IDF Table in Storm Data.
  • InRoads Drainage Database: Click the button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the InRoads Drainage Database file (.sdb) to be imported. Click the Open InRoads File button to open a browse dialog that allows you to select the InRoads Drainage Database file (.sdb) to be imported.
