Assign Surface Thickness dialog

This dialog is used to specify a thickness for the selected surfaces.

Opens when the Thickness tool is selected on the Surface ribbon tab in the Assign Properties group.

Note: An error will be given if any variable thickness surface has nodes that are identical or colinear as well as any nodes which would result in a negative thickness.

Setting	Description
Type	Select if the surface thickness supplied is either: Constant Variable Note: ISM does not currently support variable thickness surfaces, so surfaces will be transferred as the average thickness for variable type.
Thickness	For Constant thickness type, type the uniform surface thickness.
Node 1	Select the node number for specifying the first thickness for variable type thickness.
Thickness 1	Type the thickness associated at the first node.
Node 2	Select the node number for specifying the second thickness for variable type thickness.
Thickness 2	Type the thickness associated at the second node.
Node 3	Select the node number for specifying the third thickness for variable type thickness.
Thickness 3	Type the thickness associated at the third node.
