Load |
Select the load case or load group to which this load will be added.
Tip: The
current load case or group is the default selection. This is displayed
in the program status bar and can be changed on the
View ribbon tab in the Active
Load group.

Magnitude
|
The magnitude of the load. Negative values may
be used to reverse the direction.

Select on model |
Click Select to click on a node or grid intersection on the surface to define the load location. The Distance in x and Distance in y values are populated with these local coordinate values. |
Distance in x
|
The distances from N1 along the surface local x
axis.
|
Distance in y
|
The distances from N1 along the surface local y
axis.
|
Direction
|
Select the direction in which the force acts:
- Global X
/ Y / Z – to apply loads parallel to the selected global axis.
- Local x /
y / z – to apply loads parallel to the local surface axis. Local x
and y loads are in the plane of the surface.
