Select entities dialog

This dialog is used to select model objects (nodes, members, or surfaces) by their object numbers.

Opens when one of the following is selected from the right-click pop-up menu. The selection path determines what object type will be selected.

the Nodes > Select Nodes tool is selected from the Model group on the Data ribbon tab,
Nodes > Select Nodes is selected form the right-click pop-up menu in the view window,
the Members > Select Members tool is selected from the Model group on the Data ribbon tab,
Members > Select Members is selected form the right-click pop-up menu in the view window,
the Surfaces > Select Surfaces tool is selected from the Model group on the Data ribbon tab,
Surfaces > Select Surfaces is selected form the right-click pop-up menu in the view window,

Setting	Description
Selection type	Select whether you want to select objects from a List of all object numbers or Typing object numbers in a comma separated list.
Select from list by cursor	When the List option is selected, then select the object numbers. Tip: Hold `<Ctrl>` to select more than one item in this list.
Select using typed list	Type object numbers in the field. You can use a comma separated list to indicate multiple numbers (e.g., "1,3,5") You can use a dash to indicate a range of consecutive object numbers (e.g., "1-5")

When the List option is selected, then select the object numbers.

Tip: Hold <Ctrl> to select more than one item in this list.
