To add a line of evenly spaced nodes, use the following procedure.

1. Select two nodes.
2. Select the Linear generation tool in the Edit group on the Nodal ribbon tab.
   
   The Node linear generation dialog opens.
3. Type the Number of nodes to add between the two selected nodes.
4. Click OK. The dialog closes and the specified number of nodes are added between the two selected nodes.
