To add members, do the following.

1. On the Model ribbon tab, select the Member tool in the Create group.
   
   The tool is highlighted to indicate that it is active. The mouse pointer changes to an add member cursor, , and a yellow symbol "snaps" to the nearest snap point.
   
2. Click a the start node of the new member. A dashed line is "rubber banded" from this point to the mouse pointer to indicate where the member will be placed with the next mouse click.
3. Click the end node for the new member. The member is drawn in place as a line model. Another dashed line is "rubber banded" from this point to the mouse pointer.
4. Repeat step 3 to add as many more connected members as needed.
   Tip: The previous member's end node is automatically selected as the next member's start node. This allows you to keep drawing continuous members.
5. Double-click to the final node on the last member.
   Tip: Double-clicking is used for the final node in a series of members.
