To send analytical modal data to STAAD.Pro

To update the STAAD.Pro input file with analytical model data decomposed from the physical model, use the following procedure.

This procedure is used to add model data to an empty STAAD.Pro input file or to update existing model data with any changes made in STAAD.Pro Physical Modeler.

Select Create analysis model on the File ribbon tab.
Tip: The Create analysis model tool in the quick access toolbar performs the same function.
The analytical model data is transferred to STAAD.Pro. A confirmation dialog opens to indicate when this process is complete.
Click OK.
(Optional) On the File ribbon tab, select Exit.

When you close STAAD.Pro Physical Modeler, STAAD.Pro will load the analytical model data.

In STAAD.Pro, tools for editing the model created in STAAD.Pro Physical Modeler will be disabled. Similarly, the editor cannot be used to modify those portions of the model (i.e., geometry, load cases, load definitions, etc.).

You will be able to add analysis and design commands as well as perform post-processing tasks.
