To add or increment story numbers for model objects,
use the following procedure.
By default, all
model objects are initially assigned to story number 0 (zero).

Select all members that you want the story
number changed.

On the
Model ribbon tab, select the
Story Numbering tool in the
Story group.
The story number for these objects is updated
to the highest story number of the whole model plus 1.
Story numbers for members can be edited by selecting the
Story numbering tool in the
Members group on the
Spreadsheet ribbon tab.
