To create a mirrored copy of the model select about a specified global plane, use the following procedure.

1. Select any portions of the model you want to copy.
2. On the Model ribbon tab, select the Mirror tool in the Edit group.
   
   The Mirror dialog opens.
   Tip: You can continue to manipulate the view window while this dialog is open.
3. Select the Coordinate system and Mirror plane you want to use within that coordinate system.
4. Select either:

   to Move the model selection to the mirrored location

   or

   to make a mirrored Copy of the model selection

5. Either:

   click Select to select an existing node or grid intersection

   or

   type arbitrary coordinates for the Plane Point

   This coordinate defines the location of the mirror plane with respect to the global coordinate system.
6. (Optional) Click Preview to display a preview of the operation using the current parameters.
7. Click OK. The model is copied with the geometry of the selected objects mirrored about the specified mirror plane.
