To select all model objects with the matching
descriptions of the current selection, use the following procedure.
Note: You can display
descriptions for selected objects by selecting the
Description tool in the
Model group on the
View ribbon tab. The tool is darkened to
indicate it is active.

Select one or more members or surfaces.

Either:
on the
Data ribbon tab, select the
Select by description tool in the
Model group
or
right-click and
then select
Select by description from the pop-up menu.
All objects with
matching deceptions to the initial selection are also selected.
