To distribute a panel to bounding members

To distribute the pressure on a panel to the bounding edge members, use the following procedure.

The load tributary areas of bounding edge members are graphically displayed by dashed lines for selected panels. You can review and edit the selected edge members which will receive load from a panel distribution on the Panel Edges spreadsheet.

The resulting member loads for a distributed member load are applied to the current load group.

Select a panel.
On the Panel ribbon tab, select the Distribute Pressure tool in the Edit group.

The pressure load is distributed to a series of uniform and linearly varying loads along each bounding edge member.

If you make changes to the panel pressure or bounding edges, you can repeat this procedure to update the loads distributed to members.
