To add a snow load definition

To add a snow load definition containing code-specific loading parameters, use the following procedure.

On the Catalog ribbon tab, select the Snow tool in the Create Load Definitions group.

The Create: Snow Load Definition dialog opens.
Type a unique Name for the new snow load definition.
Type the Ground Snow Load for this definition.
Specify the code-specific snow factors:
1. Type the Exposure Factor.
2. Type the Thermal Factor.
3. Type the Importance Factor.
Click OK.

You can now use this definition for multiple snow load cases.

Selecting a snow load definition in the catalog will display its parameters in the Properties panel.

You can edit a snow definition by selecting it from the structure catalog and then clicking the Edit tool in the Edit group on the Catalog ribbon tab.
